85 Days, my friends!
85 short days remain until the best event of the year – Taste of Melbourne.
The usual category doesn’t seem to suffice, the category for this entry should be love, Love, LOVE!
This year it is being held at Albert Park once again, launching Thursday 14th November.
The Taste of Melbourne festival is in my opinion by a long shot the best food festival that runs in Victoria, with a remarkable range of freebies, tastings, produce for sale, and teaserish tasty samples from some of the best (or at least most hyped) restaurants in town. I strongly recommend going on opening night so that none of the stall holders have run out of anything by the time you visit.
As usual for taste of Melbourne subscribers and (I think) My Ticketek account holders, presale offers two adult tickets for $35. General tickets at regular price go on sale 2pm next Monday.
Highlights from last year were Cranberry Wensleydale, Smoked Garlic and Chilli Salt, instant Tuaca Gelato made with dry ice, and Stuffed Zucchini Flowers.
This year the lineup includes Albert St Food & Wine, Huxtable, Longrain, Movida, The Smith and more… I can’t wait!
Hope you can all make it, enjoy! ❤
